Privacy
Saling Hall is a private family home in Great Saling, Essex. This note explains what happens to information you send us through this website.
What we collect and why. If you use the contact form we collect the name, email address and message you enter, and nothing else. We use no analytics, and nothing on this site tracks your visit. We use your details only to read your enquiry and reply to it; our lawful basis is legitimate interest, since you have contacted us and we need your details in order to respond.
Who else handles it. Your message reaches us through Resend, an email delivery service, and this website is hosted by Replit on Google Cloud infrastructure. Both handle your message only in order to pass it to us. We do not sell your information, share it with anyone else, or add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it. We keep correspondence for as long as there is reason to have a record of it, and delete it when there is not.
Cookies. We set no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. Our hosting provider sets one strictly necessary cookie so that your visit is routed correctly; it does not identify you and is not used for anything else.
Your rights. Under UK data protection law you may ask us for a copy of any information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our holding it. Please use the contact form and we will deal with your request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes. If we change how any of this works we will update this page and the date below.
